Do you use Blackboard Learning Management System (WebCT) - do you have any tips or information to share with others on how you use Blackboard in your teaching - whether it be a completely online course or in conjunction with face to face delivery. You can put your ideas in this section, there are pages in the Site Pages (on the left) for Creating Files, Adding Files and Discussions, feel free to use these pages or add more pages in.
Examples
Here's your chance to look at what others have done. Look at what tools are used, how they are used etc. Look at different ways that the teacher has generated interaction between the teacher/student and student/student - they aoursre not just online 'filing cabinets'.
Greenhouse Project- I especially like this one, it has subjects that have been awarded as 'exemplorary' subjects (in the US) and you can login and look around - the online learning/teaching one is especially good. Had some good ideas such as having the same thing done 3 different ways (PDF, video and sound) - this would suit different learning styles and also if a student had a slower computer - they can use PDF instead of a video.
